 PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES

 MAYOR CERIELLO:  So I'll move to open the public hearing on Local Law 16.  Second?

 TRUSTEE IM:  Second.

 MAYOR CERIELLO:  All in favor?

 [A chorus of ayes.]

 MAYOR CERIELLO:  Okay.  We'll note for the record that two of the Trustees, Antonio D'Angelo and Joe Williams, are not present, but the Board does have a quorum this evening.  So the proposed Local Law was in the package.  Tara, we've published notice of the law as required by law?  Right?

MR. PEPPER:  Yes.  The notice of the law -- notice of the proposed Local Law was published in the paper of record.

MAYOR CERIELLO:  Okay.  Okay. All right.  Any questions from the audience?

[No response.]

MAYOR CERIELLO:  All right.  There being no public comment on the law, I'll ask the Board of Trustees to

join me in moving to adjourn the consideration of this law until the next meeting of the Board of Trustees in November.  So I'm gonna move that we take that action.   Second?

TRUSTEE IM:  Second.

MAYOR CERIELLO:  Regina seconds.  All in favor?

[A chorus of ayes.]

MAYOR CERIELLO:  Okay.

MR. PEPPER:  So we'll be holding the public hearing open until our November, I think, 13th meeting. Thirteenth.  Well, at this point, we are going -- we are going to adjourn till November 13th.

MINUTES 

A motion to approve the minutes for September 11, 2024, Board of Trustees meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and approved by all. 

 

NEW BUSINESS

AWARD ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT CONTRACT

The lowest bidder for the base bid is John McGowan & Sons of Sea Cliff NY, for $365,288, and John McGowan & Sons was also the low bidder for the base work plus additional area with a bid of $455,532,50.  Mayor Ceriello made a motion to accept the bid of John McGowan & Sons of the base bid and the alternate bid and to authorize himself to negotiate such contract with McGowan and National Grid based on their contribution, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and carried as follows:

LIGHT THE NIGHT/CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

Mayor Ceriello announced that the MPWC Light the Night and the VMP Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Sunday, December 8th at 4:45 PM.  Light the Night kits will be sold at Village Hall.

Motion to close the Board of Trustees Public Meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and unanimously approved at 8:05 pm.
