Dear Residents,
A winter storm is expected to begin the evening of Tuesday, March 6 and continue through Wednesday, March 7. An estimated five to eight inches of snow is predicted for North Hempstead.
We ask the following so we as a Village may be as effective and safe as possible during the storm.
•During the storm please keep all cars off the street so our crew can safely and effectively keep them clear.
•If possible avoid driving or being out in during the storm.
•Please check in with any neighbors who may be in need of assistance, especially our elderly residents and offer any help needed.
•Those residents with sidewalks we ask you to do your best to clear them of snow as quickly as possible to help neighbors avoid walking in the road.
