Mayor Ceriello led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
A Motion to Open the Public Meeting was made by Deputy Mayor D’Angelo, Seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and called to Order by Mayor Ceriello at 7:36 pm and approved by all.
LOCAL LAWS
Local Law 2 – 2023 Reducing Village Speed Limit
Local Law 3 – 2023 Authorizing Investments Permitted in the Village’s Investment Policy

PROCLAMTION
The mayor introduced new Eagle Scout, Benjamin M. Bitner who began Scouting in 6th grade when he joined Troop 71. His Eagle Scout Service Project was helping his community of Munsey Park with clearing out vegetation overgrowth, removing old fencing and installing new to create
additional storage space for Village grounds equipment. The mayor proclaimed, that Wednesday the 14th Day of June, be declared a day of special recognition throughout the Village of Munsey
Park for Eagle Scout, Benjamin Bittner, and all his accomplishments.
AUDITS
Deputy Mayor D’Angelo made a motion to approve the Incorporated Village of Munsey Park and the Incorporated Village of Munsey Park Justice Court Audits, seconded by Mayor Ceriello and approved by all.
MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes for the April 13, 2023 and May 10, 2023 Board of Trustees meeting was made by Trustee LiCalzi, Seconded by Mayor Ceriello and approved by all.
FINANCIAL REPORT
Deputy Mayor D’Angelo reported that the Village’s cash position is at $2,350,000 with a million currently placed in a CD until the end of July. Positive noteworthy items on the revenue side are the Village’s building permit fees, which is the second biggest variable after taxes, is coming in at $280,000 and was budgeted at $240,000.
PUBLIC SAFETY
· POLICE REPORT: The Police Report for April 2023 notes one Burglary-Residence, no Burglary-Business, no Robberies, no Larceny-Auto incident, one Larceny (other than auto), one Criminal Mischief incidents and a total of 16 summonses (11 Movers and 5 Parkers).
Motion to close the Board of Trustees Public Meeting was made by Deputy Mayor D’Angelo seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and approved by all at 8:21 PM.
