Mayor Ceriello led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
A Motion to open the Public Meeting was made by Deputy Mayor D’Angelo, seconded by Trustee Im, and called to order at 7:40 pm and approved by all.
MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes for March 13, 2024, Board of Trustees meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Deputy Mayor D’Angelo, and approved by all.

NEW BUSINESS
FUN RUN
Mayor Ceriello made a motion to approve the MPWC Kids Fun Run on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, seconded by Trustee Im and approved by all. Various roads will be closed, and the condition of such roads will be assessed the week prior to the run due to National Grid’s upgrade of the Village’s gas infrastructure.

As stated in the VMP code, All accessory equipment, including but not limited to purifying equipment, heater, salinization or other mechanical equipment, shall be located in the side yard or any rear yard of any residential property having a setback depth from the adjacent property of not less than the applicable minimum required side yard setback and shall be in a location approved by the Board of Trustees upon application showing the proposed location of the equipment, approximate distance to the dwelling on adjacent properties, proposed or actual landscape screening and decibel information of the applicable equipment as requested by the Board of Trustees. All accessory equipment must be at least 10 feet from the property line and location approved by the Board of Trustees. A motion to approve the location of the pool equipment at 86 Abbey Road which was in the required set back was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee Im and approved by all.
MAYOR’S REPORT
NATIONAL GRID
Roads are under construction Trumbull/Kensett Road. National Grid uses a Subcontractor to do the road work typically Asplundh before they use Banker. Temporary patch on the street now when National Grid is done with the tie-ins, they will strip off the temporary patch and asphalt binder grade which is a permanent patch. We are going to go out and repave all these roads Jim Antonelli is preparing bid materials.
AMERICAN PAVING
The Mayor made a motion to accept the mutual general release in the form that was presented by counsel for a $10,000 settlement against American Paving and Mason for unsatisfactory road work, seconded by Deputy Mayor D’Angelo and approved by all.
REPORTS
· JUSTICE REPORT: The Monthly Justice Report for March 2024 notes total fines assessed in the amount of $3,829.
· BUILDING REPORT: The Building Report notes that between June 1, 2023 to April 4, 2024 a total of 116 permits have been issued totaling $133,873 in Building Permit Fees.
· POLICE REPORT: The Police Report for March 2024 notes no Burglary-Residence, no Burglary-Business, no Robberies, no Larceny-Auto incident, (1) one Larceny (other than auto), no Criminal Mischief incidents and a total of 62 summonses (52 Movers and 10 Parkers).
Motion to close the Board of Trustees Public Meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee Im and unanimously approved at 8:16 pm.
